Welcome to Western State Basketball Classic (WSBC)

Dear WSBC schools, players, coaches, families, friends, and fans:

Welcome to Arizona Schools for the Deaf and the Blind! I am pleased that we are hosting the 34th Annual Western States Basketball and 29th Annual Cheerleading Classic this year. Eight schools will participate in this exciting tournament where all basketball players and cheerleaders will demonstrate their skillful athletic abilities on the gym floor throughout the weekend. In addition, the players will have ample opportunities to mingle with their peers from different schools before, during, and after games. There is no other better place and time for all students from different schools to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally.

Ultimately, the goal is for our players and cheerleaders to enjoy the competition amongst themselves on the court and to enjoy a strong sense of WSBC community off the court.

The tournament is open to public starting with an Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, January 27th at 6pm in the Gym.
